Challenge
SimplePractice users are forced to rely on workarounds and third-party applications, often at an additional cost, to serve unrelated groups of individuals. This inefficiency leads to increased expenses, service limitations, or cancellations as they seek alternative solutions.
Solution
An integrated groups feature leveraging the existing core workflows our users are accustomed to with multi-client specific enhancements like a centralized attendance hub, one-click cancellations to many clients and an industry first one-to-many documentation page.
Results
On launch day, over 1,000 group appointments were scheduled for more than 7,000 clients by the 50,000 customers who had access to the premium feature demonstrating a strong demand to consolidate their business on our platform.
After six months, as the feature matures, more than 12,000 group appointments are scheduled each month, serving over 48,000 unique clients resulting in overall increased access to mental health care for clients, a new revenue stream for SimplePractice users and increased payment processing volume for the business.
